No breakfast but a lot of water because I am going out to lunch with a friend and having a cheat day on my medical diet. Lunch half of a bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich, and some fried onion rings. Again lots of water. Dinner the other half of the BLT sandwich, some cucumbers and more water. I really enjoyed it and I have my doctor's permission to cheat once or twice a month. Before going to bed I will have a plum.
1:20 AM. Dinner: two hot dogs, rice, chili sauce, and onions. I’ll have some kind of dessert and maybe a piece of bread before bed. Going to watch mummy’s curse from 1944 or 45.
Lunch was an experiment. Sadly, fish no longer tastes of anything and I can't bring myself to eat it. But I didn't want to waste a trout fillet. So I mashed it with some chilli butter and put the result in a toasted sandwich. Not exciting, but perfectly palatable.
The sandwich toaster btw is ingenious - two metal plates in silicone covers which you put in the microwave.
Breakfast was one egg, with sour dough toast, 1/2 of a banana and coffee. Lunch will be left over from two days ago, potato, fried cabbage and onions. I will add some tuna to this to roud out the meal. Tonight I will have a salad, the first in a long time. I am happy to feel safe eating lettuce again.
With Husband Beaky currently away in Kenya I am keeping things simple food wise.
Breakfast was coffee, berries and brioche
Lunch was ciabatta with cheese and avocado
Supper is going to be fish, potatoes and green beans
Supper: pasta with prawns, green beans and broccoli and garlicky cream.
Currently nibbling on grapes.
[tangent] @ChastMastr - I'm struggling to understand the timings of your eating: breakfast at three in the afternoon and dinner at two in the morning???? 🤔

Yes. It’s a struggle.
3:30 PM. Breakfast: eggs, maple, sausage, potato, fall harvest salsa from Trader Joe’s, apples, coffee. Today: school meeting and Zoom classes and grading and dishes. Watching spooky/Halloween-themed Teen Titans Go episodes. I made the plate and bowl and mug into a hidden Mickey. God, I miss Disney.
Usual breakfast.
Lunch: roast beef and watercress sandwich with a handful of cherry tomatoes from the garden.
Dinner - not very heathy as mostly fried: a frikadella topped with a thick slice of Gourmandsun tomato from the garden and a fried egg. Accompanied by a couple of baby potatoes and, as a nod to healthy eating, some spinach. A handful of grapes for dessert.
12:50 AM. Dinner before 1 AM! Low-sodium black bean soup over brown rice and quinoa with lime juice, Cholula, hot sauce, and sour cream. Not sure what dessert will be, but I will have something.
Tea last night was roast chicken thigh in a cheese and spinach sauce (made with leftover sauce from the previous day’s stroganoff). Followed by a raspberry and mint oat smoothie which I will finish off this morning.
Yesterday after my usual cereal breakfast I had crumpets with home made guacamole and salad for lunch and the left-over guacamole with home made hummus, more salad and wraps left over from a few days ago for tea.
Today it'll be a pretend ham sandwich for lunch and probably a vegan ready meal from the freezer this evening as my husband is out for the day and I can't be bothered to cook properly.
Breakfast: Kippers* with bread and butter; orange, grapefruit & pineapple juice; coffee
Lunch: Salad nicoise
Dinner (to come): Steak with runner beans; raspberries and Greek yoghurt
* Two small boys appeared while I was eating and stood by my chair opening their mouths like baby birds - you'd need a heart of stone not to share. As a rule, the little chaps and I have the same lunch - it looks as if breakfast is now going to be shared too.
Lunch: pasta salad with Mozzarella, tomatoes, peppers, pesto and rocket
Supper: duck breast with potatoes, green beans and broccoli, followed by cheese and grapes
* One of my bosses brings me a cup of tea in the morning, but he doesn't work on Wednesdays, so I started getting coffee on my way to work. Alas, Gregg's are also purveyors of very excellent bacon rolls ...
Usual breakfast.
Lunch: tomatoes on toast (more of the Gourmandsun tomatoes), followed by a chocolate ginger biscuit.
Dinner: A substantial asparagus and french bean frittata. (French beans still producing beans, but growing very slowly, so not enough to actually serve as a side vegetable).
Yesterday we had a very cheap dinner as youngest son was duty manager at a restaurant and got us a complementary. Today we had the chili con carne that was cooking yesterday plus some apple crumble.
Tomorrow will be the same.
I was looking forward to eating some home grown tomatoes. I am not a gardener. They grew spontaneously from seeds, two plants, one each side of the drain from the kitchen sink. My grandson pointed out that they are likely to be contaminated, which, now I think about it, is likely, so they will have to be thrown out, sadly.
My daily breakfast is a mixture of muesli and granola, with a small amount of milk to moisten, topped with blueberries, raspberries, half a banana most days and whatever other fruit is available, currently pears from my tree.
Typically my lunch is a sandwich on seeded wholemeal bread ( filling varies) with salad items.
Evening meal varies. Tonight it was leftover cottage pie my son made.
I have just got in from choir and eaten a hot cross bun and a chunk of mature cheddar cheese.
I don’t eat pudding unless it is a yogurt or some fruit, but I might have a dark chocolate digestive biscuit with a cup of tea.
12:58 AM. Later than planned planned but still earlier than it’s been. Dinner is cooking: low sodium yellow rice, frozen leftover meat, low sodium gandules (pigeon peas), Trader Joe’s mixed vegetables. Blueberry pie from Walmart for dessert. Going to watch House of Dracula from 1945. After this one, there’s She-Wolf of London, followed by the Abbot and Costello Meet [Insert monster’s name here] films and the Creature from the Black Lagoon trilogy, and that’s it for the Universal monsters for literally decades. Considering switching to the Hammer monster films after that.

Were these two small boys just sort of random or do they live with you, possibly offspring of some kind?
Lunch: pasta salad with Mozzarella, tomatoes, peppers, pesto and rocket

This is my final week of my current job. Won't be looking back on it with any great fondness. So this week, I was handing round some exotic sweets I brought back with me from Thailand: durian sweets!
They do smell and taste like the real thing. I quite liked them, but know durian is off-putting to many.
Today is the leaving lunch, so I'll be having a pub fish & chips.
For me, it was porridge for brekky, just perfect on a chilly morning.
Lunch, a banana sandwich and I did pinch a biscuit from Cheery husband's stash.
Tonight will be burritos and I have already chopped vegetables to have with the meat. I suspect they bear no resemblance to proper Mexican food, but will be delicious, nonethless.
I treated myself to a pot of Greek yoghurt with lemon stuff at the bottom of the container. If I get peckish before bedtime, I might have that for dessert.
Nice, boring, trad dinner: crumbed lamb cutlets with mash, poached asparagus ( new season) & a few glasses off an el cheapo Clare Valley cab sauv. Breakfast was a stovetop espresso black ( ran out of milk yesterday): no lunch but dry boring & expensive cupcake post shopping ( that will teach me for hopping off bus from Bondi Junction @ Woollahra-halfway home-to buy something otherwise unobtainable and stupidly buying said cupcake in a fit of peckishness; never again!
I had my usual breakfast of cereal and a load of fruit, then toast. with the humous from a couple of days ago on one slice and peanut butter on the other. There was salad and olives (we eat a lot of olives) on the side. Tonight we're going for an early tea at a local cafe/wine bar/bistro. I'll probably have a sandwich and a smoothie. We had a lot of dithers about doing that or going out for a proper meal tomorrow night when wine could be drunk (I have at least meeting, possibly two tonight) but decided to leave a posh meal out for next week,
Food delivery day and, as Mr Heavenly is still away on business, I treated myself to some nice food; lunch was smoked trout pate in a freshly baked baguette. In the afternoon I made a damson, ginger and cinnamon smoothie from a smoothie recipe kit, it was fiddly to prepare but delicious.
Tea was a rack of ribs, with honey and jerk seasoning, and I couldn’t be bothered to cook anything to accompany it.
Usual breakfast of porridge with a banana and toast spread with Bovril.
Lunch was a corned beef sandwich with rhubarb & orange chutney, a couple of lettuce leaves and a handful of cherry tomatoes.
For dinner I made Savoy, chestnut, chickpea and nutmeg sauté with brown rice, and have just eaten a small square of 70% dark chocolate and half a dozen almonds.
Breakfast: Greek yogurt, tangerine, wholegrain half of a English muffin with alvacado. Coffee with soy milk.
Lunch: Pasta primaveria with clean out the refrigator vegatables in antisipation of tomorrow's shopping, with sun dried tomato oil, and a sprinkle of goat cheese. Water
Evening meal: I plan to have a small green salad with a few shrimp, and a couple of crackers.Water
Put a bit of effort into the lunchtime soup; roasting some red and yellow peppers, plus carrot and onion and plenty of chilli all topped with crispy bacon,
Dinner was low-effort chicken streaks with fried rice. Homemade apple crumble to follow. V nice NZ Pinot Grigio.
My plans for my evening meal has changed as my neighbor just dropped by with a bag of apples from his tree, and two lovely ripe tomatoes from his garden. So a tomato sandwich is planned along with an apple.
Usual cereal first thing, and then a couple of biscuits at a mid-morning meeting. Vegan cheese toastie and salad for lunch (we eat a lot of salad). Tonight pasta with a slightly different pesto that included walnuts and courgettes. A couple of glasses of a rather nice Rioja were drunk too.
Usual breakfast.
We had lunch at a National Trust property. I had tuna/sweetcorn/mayo on a large jacket potato with a generous side salad and two extra packets of mayonnaise. Mr Ros had roast veg on a big slice of sourdough bread. It was new to the menu and looked delicious, so if they are still doing it next time we go I will sample that.
Later Mr RoS bought a reduced-price pack of double chocolate cookies from sainsbury's, so I had one as a late dessert.
Dinner was whatever we could find in the fridge, so we had the remaining frikadellas with grilled slices of tomato and cold boiled potatoes.
I had a granola danish treat mid morning with the remaining damson smoothie. Lunch was leftover pork ribs.
This evening I made Mexican chicken, avocado and black bean salad. The recipe included spicy quinoa but I missed this out as I try to low carb in my evening meals.
Breakfast one egg and one egg white. For some reason house dog Molly showed no interest in the second yolk. She is always right on it. Eggs scrambled and toped with a bit of fresh salsa. Toast with blueberry jam a friend brought me from a visit to Canada. It was very good as it had small whole berries in it. Coffee. Lunch was a turkey burger with a slice of my neighbor's gifted tomato. Water Mid afternoon was a slice of fresh sourdough bread with butter, because I simple could not resist it warm from the oven. Water Tonight will be beans, corn, and peppers saturated and eaten on a corn tortilla with a non alcohol beer to drink.
I seem to have had several days of snacks rather than proper cooked meals.
Today I knew lunch would be late so I had intended to have extra breakfast but I forgot. Lunch was more of yesterday’s leftovers, with a friend to share them, so quiche, salads, nice bread, cheese.
I forgot to get meat out of the freezer early enough for tonight so that will keep for tomorrow.
This evening I made do with bacon, egg and eggy bread, followed by pear cake.
Usual breakfast rather earlier than usual as we were being picked up at 7.30 for trip to London. Cereal bar on the way and then after the memorial service we were attending, lunch in a Polish restaurant. We had white vegetable soup, spinach and cheese pancakes with mushroom sauce and then I had baked cheese cake and husband had apple cake. It was accompanied by a couple of glasses of wine. We got home at about 7.00 and as neither of us were hungry we just a had a couple more glasses of wine.
Lunch was egg fried rice with mushrooms and kimchi. Mr RS was quite keen, so that will be added to the lunch menu.
Dinner was so-called "Greek-Style Fish". It consisted of frozen cod steaks cooked in a sauce of garlic, onion, cherry tomatoes, oregano & parsley, olives and baby potatoes, all topped with crumbled feta.
Frozen cod steaks only used to be bearable because they were cheap, but not any longer. Can't see me making this once the ones already in the freezer have been used.
I had an asparagus risotto.
In Australia asparagus gives a distinctive smell to your urine.
That didn't happen in the UK this February. I suppose they have developed a new type that doesn't cause that smell.

Everybody’s good at cooking something… 🎶

My wife is cooking mince, veg and doughballs.
