Responding to Dayfd comment in Bad theology
I hear what you are saying thread placement, Dafyd, but Huia shared something very personal and painful in the thread on Bad Theology. I felt it important to respond to her where she was, rather than redirect her or treat her story as a sidebar. Somethings deserve to be acknowledged and addressed in the moment, rather than worry where they belong.
The thread was about bad theology. I wanted to show what good theology can look like with presence, compassion, and attention to the wounded.
I get the point about thread organization, but when someone shares something as heavy as Huia did, it feels right to meet her where she is. We can sort out categories later; people come first.

Showing compassion with a fellow Shipmate is fine. Others had done that already.
It wasn't as if anyone had 'blocked' your comments. The suggestion was to take them to a more appropriate forum.
I was actually responding to @ChastMastr's comments, apparently, you could not figure that out. Yes, a bit of a lecture directed toward @ChastMastr, but I also wanted to affirm where Huia was at.
I didn’t know that either. But I don’t appreciate being lectured at either.
I thought I had agreed with @Huia that her experiences (including with the horrible church person) were ghastly. If I expressed false theology in my later comment, I welcome correction on the proper board. The thread is about bad theology, but as I had said earlier on it, even good theology expressed in a bad way or at the wrong time can also be bad. It doesn’t make it false doctrine, but context matters.
