Glorious Anglo-Catholicism at its very best - like being in heaven!

It might be worth noting that, at the time of this MW Report, the 11am service was the second principal Eucharist of the day. Given that the population of the parish is less than 10000, an attendance of 150 seems not too bad.

Possibly as a result of the pandemic, there is now one main Sunday Eucharist (at 1030am), alternating between contemporary and traditional language. There is a monthly Family Mass at 930am, which I guess would need to be kept quite short!
  • This comment, too, has fallen victim to the comment bug regarding the photo.
  • Not only that, but I read their website incorrectly. It appears that they have a Family Mass at 930am on the first Sunday each month, with a 1030am Mass on the other Sundays - begging the question as to what happens (if anything) at 1030am on the first Sunday!

I get the impression (and it's no more than that) of a church struggling to come to terms with the Covid-induced decline which is being suffered by many churches in the UK, and elsewhere.

Maybe the tangent about Family Masses may be more suitable for its own thread in Eccles
