I quite fancy an Iranian restaurant and shops in the vicinity. But we do fairly well from random Eastern European and Turkish food at the corner shop.
Heavy rain overnight but clear today, if blustery. I did a huge amount of marking so I am pleased with that.
Tea was butterflied sardines with a warm leek, butterbean and spinach salad topped with labneh (Middle Eastern yoghurt cheese) and lemon zest. I am currently drinking an Austrian red which Mr Heavenly finds a bit acidic but I think it is fine.
Our son is home for the weekend and we headed off this evening to a ceilidh to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day at my church. A good time was had by all, but we’re now all pretty tired and heading to bed.
