    Re communion: I don't think Catholics do intinction. It has been my experience, though, that many if not most communicants pass by the chalice as if it weren't there.

    Strictly speaking, as a non-RC, the reporter shouldn’t have received communion. (Not saying I agree with that policy, just saying it as it is)
