Shipmate
in The Circus
In these nasty bleak cold days with horrid news bombarding us from all sides, I for one need a light hearted diversion. Thus this proposed thread. I was going to add, no rudeness, please, but shipmates will know I'm rather fond of rudery. To start the ball rolling, how 'bout:
'Far from the Madding crow'
'Schindler's Lisp'
'The Wild Lunch'
'A Suitable Bog'
'Cold Comfort Fart'
My own favourite, Thomas Hardy's only erotic lighthearted sex comedy, 'Toss off the D'urbervilles' doesn't (quite) fit the rules, but what the hell.
More, please!

I'd like to claim this as original, but in fact it was the title of a review in the Church Times of a book about how attitudes to women through the ages are revealed by the language used to describe parts of their bodies. But so clever, I had to give it an airing here!
Thankfully I read that before I took a mouthful of tea!!
I'm sure that will tickle @RockyRoger 's funnybone, because it certainly did mine!
Surely that's a tale of profits from local council parking apps? (Don't know if the RingGo app is annoying people outwith the UK as well as within it...)
