Sent messages

I was sure I had sent a PM to a shipmate yesterday, but I am not sure where to check that it was sent. Possibly I am just being thick (again!) but should it be visible? The inbox is clear enough, but I am not finding 'sent'.

    If you sent the message and can see it in your "Inbox" that means it's been sent, as far as I'm aware. It's not like the old Ship - PMs don't appear in either "Outbox" (meaning they hadn't been read) or "Sent" meaning they had. Here, all we can see is "Inbox" with the messages appearing like a thread.

    I sent a second message to the same person and got a quick reply saying he had received the first and had replied to it. I can't find any trace of my original message or his reply, so perhaps we have a glitch in the software. Or possibly just evil spirits, which is usually a satisfactory explanation for computer-related problems.

    Did you by any chance click on "Leave Conversation"? I believe that if you do that you not only leave the conversation, you delete it.

    As a minor correction to what @Nenya said, if you leave a conversation you delete your copy of the posts. The person/people you were conversing with still have their copy of the posts.

    That's probably what I did, but would it have deleted the recipient's first reply as well?
