    May not be appropriate for this thread, but yesterday I could not get on to Ship of Fools. I understand it was a server problem. Talk about withdrawals for me.

    Today it popped up right away.

    I had the same problem with another forum I belong to around the same time. All sorted.

    Sometimes I look at a thread and find I have posted the same post twice. I think it's when I look at a thread and find a draft I thought I had already posted, and decide I must have forgotten to post.
    Would this be anything to do with posting from both a PC and also an android phone?

    I think I have worked it out.

    If I open Recent Discussions,
    then go to a thread and create a draft,
    then post it,
    then use the back button to go back to Recent Discussions,

    The draft is recovered by going backwards and reappears the next time I go to the thread.

    Not sure where to post this. When I try to access the ship from my laptop, I get a "This site can't be reached" notice. That's a PC running Windows. However when I use my phone, which is what I'm posting this from, it works fine. I'd think the issue was my computer, which is a mess, except that other sites are working fine.

    Is your phone using the same wifi as your computer or is it on mobile data?

    In this sort of situation my default response is:

    ipconfig /flushdns

    in the command prompt.

    FYI, and to follow up on what @KarlLB asked, I get that message when WiFi is having temporary problems. It goes away when the WiFi problems correct.

    Well like I said, it was only the ship that I got that message for, all the other sites (eight aprox.) that I was in were fine. That's why I was concerned for the ship.
